4th of July

We spent the 4th of July in Utah.  After the AZ trip Joe met up with his girls in Leamington.

Brooke loved eating the candy but it took a few moments to figure out it was a pretty ruthless activity and she needed to be quick if she wanted to eat anymore.  Luckily mom was there to help her out a little.

Brindi learned a few years back she had to be ready at all times.  As a result she came home with a ton of candy.

After the parade we headed over to the park to get a little wet.  They just opened up a splash pad that Brindi thoroughly enjoyed.  The stream above however was fun but very slippery and dangerous.  I was surprised to not see a few more cracked heads.

Soaked and lov'n it.

We also played a little bit on the jump slides as we said our final good-byes to Mike and his family for the next three years as they headed to Japan later that week as part of the Marines.  Sad we didn't get any pictures with them.

Later in the afternoon we headed to Aunt Amy's house to play in the pool, on the tramp with the sprinkler, and to slide down the slippery slide.  The great thing was we were able to play games while the kids played. That is what we miss being away from family.
