AZ Vacation

Celeste and the girls hitched a ride with a friend in our Ward and headed west to AZ.  They were able to spend three weeks with GrandDad and Grammy.  Working cattle, riding horses, waking up early, swimming, and playing with their many cousins.

Great picture with GrandDan and Virginia.  GrandDan was nice enough to give Celeste a vehicle for the three weeks she spent in St. Johns.  A great man he is.

Venessa was with Sterling for one of the weeks which was great for her to be back in AZ and being able to play with her cousins.

As I mentioned, they rode almost everyday.  Brooke loved riding as does Brindi but Brooke would get so mad if Brindi was able to ride and she was given the opportunity.

Brindi also successfully experienced her first trampoline outside sleep over with her cousins and GrandDad which had the short straw:)  Last time we tried sleeping on the tramp, Brindi only made it about a hour.

Kent's Zoo

We thought the Kent children would not be that interested in the Zoo as they do have one in Utah that they attend once a twice a year but after some discussion and a little pleading we decided to head over to the STL Zoo.  The one benefit is its FREE.  Gotta love it.
It was a really hot day so we were not surprised to many of the cats and animals hanging out in the water.

The hippos are probably our favorite part of the zoo.  They are always very active and get up close and personal.

David was amazing with our little girls.  He is such a great kid to have around...as long as its not his sisters.

Kadee and Brindi did pretty well together and we even caught them holding hands on the way out.

Mormon Profile

When the church started their I'm a Mormon campaign I initially logged on and filled one out but it was not very good and I had a hard time articulating my testimony because I had so much to say but I didn't know how to say it and there were experiences I wanted to share but knew they were too sacred to share.  But again how would anyone know how I got to where I am without those experiences.  So anyway, I stumbled through it and got it up but never told anyone.  I then tried to search for my profile and others I knew that were up and found the site very hard to find specific individuals, but very easy to find individuals with common ground.  Well I have hopefully worked out the writing to be a little bit better and I figure since it was hard to find I better somewhat promote that I am a Mormon and actually stand for what I believe.  I would like feedback though.  Below is the link to my profile and if you can give me any constructive feedback that would be great.  Otherwise, enjoy a little insight into my spiritual life.

Blueberries

This past weekend we took a morning and headed to New Melle to the fruit orchard to pick our own blueberries.  We love going to this farm and always have a fun time with the kids plus the fruit is much cheaper and taste better than getting it from the store.

Batman and the Princess

Brindi's best friend Kole finally came back from vacation after over a month.  Brindi was so excited to have her friend back.  They really do play so well together but yet their styles differ.  Kole is pure boy and Brindi pure girl but just as each princess has a prince, each superhero has his lady.
Brindi and Kole spent most of their time at the end of the yard under our bush.  Not sure what they were doing but they sure were having fun together.
I love these photos.
