My sister Amy and her family came out to visit us and wanted to see all the sites. My sister is a master tourist which was awesome. We met them in Nauvoo and immediately headed out to see the sites/shows.
Breakfast with the Kents. Because the Kents are more Petersen and Kent than Lovell, they were sleeping longer than the Lovell/Hancock tribe. Which meant breakfast was in the hallway so we didn't wake anyone up.
Our kids being exposed to technology. It was really funny to see their actions.
Cousin David was awesome with our kids. He is really good with them always giving them all the attention they want, always willing to carry them, and do/play with them at any time. So of course Brindi and Booke loved him. What a good kid!
Making our very own rope!
Hanging out with the sheep.
We were going going going and finally I think the kids had enough so we let them have some down time to just play and the adults kept going to little presentations in the same building. It worked out well.
David was so excited to be going on this wagon ride to inspiration point.
My girls all dressed up like the 1800s.
Brindi loved dressing up and playing as if she was a pioneer. She has quite the imagination.
My wife destroying David in the rope game.
Brooke got tired of all the touring also and so we took a little break and just played on the grass for a while. When we were playing a senior missionary came over and asked if he could take our picture as we were rolling around. He said it was going to be used in the church's Nauvoo father's day promotions. So basically we are famous:)
Too much car seat.
The cutest wife in the world.
Checking out the grave stones of the Smith family.
A very happy child with a big grin.
Those are some good looking girls and one beautiful woman.
Sleeping Beauty and the spinning wheel.
So we were driving down main street and I saw this women that look awful familiar and I looked at her lisences plate which was Oregon and it clicked, Sister Olsen my mission president's wife. So I swerved over parked and ran back to her car. She luckily remembered me. So I grabbed a quick lunch and took the family down to their apartment to visit. They just arrived in April for another mission as temple patrons for the tourist season. Kind of crazy.
David being ecstatic to be at the Just Plain Anna Amanda play.
Brindi with her desert diamond ring.
Our traditional photos at the Relief Society garden.
I told Brindi she was as tall as the statue when she was the same age as Brooke so she had to compare herself now that she was a couple years older.
Brindi loved having all her cousin here to take care of her and play with her. They were all pretty good with our girls.
At Carthage Jail.
That is one good looking family!
