Renaissance Fair

This past weekend we were able to get some tickets to the renaissance fair in Wentzeville. It was way too hot but the tickets were free so we could not pass it up. It was a pretty cool sight to see as you stroll through the woods as everyone is dressed in 14-16th century dress. Merchants selling swords, leather designs, crowns, face painting, and much more. Our camera battery died shortly after we arrived but we were able to get pictures of a jousting tournament and a musical group along with the royal and peasant bears. If the collage is too small please click on the picture for more details. We saw several pretty neat shows including magic, belly dancing, songs, acrobats, sword fights, and the crowing of the king and queen children (Brindi was too young to participate). Besides the dreadful heat, it was a great way to spend an afternoon. As the kids get a little older I think they will really enjoy it.

That is fun. I bet Brindi just loved those giant bears.
